Wake Forest’s Reynolda Campus, including Wake Downtown and other University sites located in Winston-Salem, will suspend operations at 5 p.m. today, Monday, Dec. 8. Shuttle service will end at 7 p.m.

Evening exams scheduled for 7 p.m. cannot be held in person. Faculty will receive instructions from their respective deans about options for tonight’s exams. Students should monitor their email for further directions.

Campus service hours may be adjusted due to the weather. Check websites for updated hours of operation for campus dining, the Wellbeing Center, the ZSR library, Deacon Health, Mail Services and WFU shuttle services.

Check with event organizers for the status of scheduled campus events.

Colleagues working on site who are not designated as essential personnel should leave the campus at the time of the closing. Those working from a flexible work location are not expected to perform work during the closure hours. Managers of essential personnel should communicate any on-site or remote work expectations directly with their team members. Visit the HR website for more detailed information for employees.

A decision regarding operations for Tuesday, Dec. 9, will be made later after assessing conditions. The University will keep the community informed of any changes through Wake Alert emergency notifications. Faculty, staff and students are encouraged to make sure their mobile phone number is updated and to download the Wake Safe App to receive safety and weather information. Here’s how emergency communications are shared and what you can do to stay informed.
