Wake Forest Police remain in contact with local authorities who continue to search for the suspect in the shooting at Mount Tabor High School. There is no reason to believe there is any risk to campus. Campus will be updated should the risk in our area change. Faculty, staff and students should remain alert to new information while continuing normal activities.

Winston-Salem public schools and police have confirmed a single incident resulting in injuries to one high school student. No other incidents have been confirmed. All precautionary lockdowns have been lifted at other local public schools, other than at Mount Tabor.
