The National Weather Service tornado warning has expired. A tornado watch for the Winston-Salem/Forsyth County area remains in effect until 12:00 p.m A tornado watch means tornadoes are possible in and near the watch area.

Please monitor local weather reports for the latest information.

In the event of a tornado warning, Wake Forest will use the Wake Alert emergency notification system to communicate with students, faculty, and staff.  An announcement would be posted on the Wake Alert web site and the University’s home page at wfu.edu; sent by text, email and voice mail; and posted on the Wake Alert Twitter and Facebook accounts.
